My Letter D ATC

I have done just a few swaps now.  I am a little intimidated by all these "Really Crafty Women" .  Does it take everyone hours of work to get an ATC made?   Will I eventually get faster at it.  I tend to obsess over it.  Don't get me wrong....I LOVE IT!  But I can't stop until I am satisfied with what I make.  I started this letter "D" ATC with Dazzling Daisies.  I blinged out some daisies added lace and attached it to my card.  Then I thought.  Hmmm...... What about a "D"ouble card.  Dazzling Daisies on the front and Day Dreaming of a white Christmas on the back.   Then I got sick and deadline approached and I wasn't satisfied with my Dazzling Daisies.  So...... back to the drawing board and I came up with this.  These Daisies are still Dazzling but they are also Dancing Daisies.  I created a little paper spring that they can wiggle around on.  So give them a little flick of the finger and they will Dance for you. Here is my Dancing Daisies ATC card.
I really want to keep my ATCs and display them.  I would love to hear how you keep and/or display your ATC's.

ATC "D" Swap. Thank you Mercedes!

I got my ATC for the letter "D"  in the mail a while back. I have been sick and didn't get it posted.  But here it is.  I love the little Dress up Doll.  She is just adorable.  When you turn over the card you find a small envelope on the back with more dress up clothes.  How Cleaver, Mercedes.  THIS IS SO CUTE!!!

(Thank you also for the other little goodies you included in there.)  See how cute this is!

Here is my Owl SVG.  It is available now at my Etsy Store: PaperPetalsandBows
I found this quote and it reminded me that we were never promised an easy life,
I am sure glad that I don't have to face the problems by myself.
God has always' walked with me step by step.  So far He has blessed me with family
who also walk with me through the storms of life.  For whom I am extremely thankful!

Craft Happens Twinchie Swap

I recently became a member at .  I joined a couple of swaps.
They have many of them to choose from.  If this sounds fun to you go over and check them out.
I am hoping to meet some new friends and share some fun crafty items and ideas.

I joined two of the twinchie swaps.
(Twinchies are 2"X 2" embellishments that can be added to scrapbook pages, cards etc.)
Here  are the "twinchies" I made for the steampunk theme.

This is the back of the twinchies.  Yup,  I'm showing the back first.  (I just haven't figured out how the pictures load up.)
We were supposed to make 6 twinchies to share with others.
I had fun decorating the package with a "steampunky" belt and buckle.

I am so excited to see what beautiful creations all the other swappers came up with.  I will post what I receive from everyone else too.

This was my first steam punk project.  I had so much fun creating some designs with my Sure Cuts a Lot program.  I have a couple of free SVG"s that I will share from this project.  If you are interested please leave a comment.  Thanx.

Yay! I received my first ATC in the mail. Thank you Teresa!

Today I received an ATC from Teresa.  The theme for the ATC was the letter "C".  She made a "creepy" pumpkin card.  I love the added detail with the red glittery eyes and white teeth.  I also love the little envelope.  I am going to have to try my hand at that.  Love the inspiration.

She also sent me a bunch of goodies.  Tags, Two little bottles.  (One I think has ashes in it. Ooooooo.... My granddaughters and I were speculating as to what it could be.  We are sure it must be fairy dust.)  (Smile), She sent some beautiful lace with my first Stick Pin.  I LOVE IT!  She sent me some pretty little flower buttons that I am excited to use.  I love flower anything. She altered a matchbox and did an amazing job. Love it!  What a cute idea.  I'm gonna borrow that one for sure.  She sent a cute little glittery pumpkin.  As you can see in my pictures there are so many amazing little treasures.  Thank you so much Teresa. You are amazing.  I love how creative you are.
If you want to check out her blog I have a button pinned at the bottom of my blog. Hop over and see her.  Maybe join one of her swaps. Who knows maybe you and I will be partners.  This is fun.
